Our publications, produced in hundreds of thousands of copies, offer valuable information for both adults and children, showcasing the benefits of pollinators and specialty honeys.

Storybooks
In collaboration with a popular writer and illustrator duo, we commissioned two storybooks for young children. The stories revolve around Fluffball the Bee and help kids learn about the differences between bees and wasps, how honey is made, and how to support pollinators. Adél Várszegi presents the diversity and importance of the world of bees in a light and understandable style for children, while Dorottya Szert-Szabó’s artistic yet child-friendly illustrations captivate both young and old.
In Hungarian and English
The first storybook, “Buzzing along woods and meadows – The adventures of Fluffball and Sophie”, was sent to kindergartens in all the small settlements in Hungary and was also published in English. Building on the success of the first book, we created a sequel, “Buzzing along woods and meadows – The adventures of Fluffball and Samu”, which tells new exciting stories from the world of bees.
Educational colouring book
To enhance interactivity and engage children in the protection of pollinators, we produced more than a hundred thousand copies of a colouring book, including clever puzzles and activities. We also distributed these activity books to rural kindergartens.
Children’s cookbook
Fluffball teaches children to love pollinators and honey not only through stories but also with the “Buzzing Around the Plate” children’s cookbook. The author duo, Zsófi Szabó (one of our ambassadors) and the inspiration behind our program, József Vida, playfully introduce children to the world of cooking and the use of honey as an ingredient.
Recipe book series
With a similar purpose, we offer the “Buzzing in the Kitchen…” recipe book series for adults. In three volumes, József Vida and one of our campaign ambassadors, singer Magdi Rúzsa, present over a hundred and fifty traditional and gourmet appetizers, main courses, and desserts, all incorporating honey as an ingredient. The recipe books also introduce beekeepers, bringing readers closer to the lives of bees and the beekeepers who care for them.
Education videos
Smart hive
With the help of our interactive educational hives, children can get to know the lives of bees and the fruits of their labour. The frames that can be pulled out from the smart hive contain information that is easy for kids to process, featuring images and drawings rather than honey. This way, children learn how to take care of bees and what honey is used for in a playful manner.
